Our board of directors is dedicated to helping First Responders as they navigate the challenging roles in which they support communities across the United States. Our board includes a First Responder (law enforcement) and spouse, in addition to NeurOptimal® trainers and a licensed mental health professional.
Barbara Graham | President of the Board
Barbara Graham is a seasoned management and marketing leader with over 20 years of experience in architecture, engineering, construction, controlled environment agriculture (CEA), and technology. As Vice President of Marketing at urban-gro, Inc., she leads a team that drives growth through branding, digital marketing, and lead generation. She collaborates with business development and pre-construction teams, creating compelling strategies to pursue new project opportunities. Her skills include web content management, graphic design, copywriting, and inbound marketing. She has over ten years of freelance experience developing marketing campaigns across various industries.
Stanley Wagner | Treasurer
NeurOptimal® Certified Trainer
Stanley Wagner has 25 years of diverse marketing, PR, and operations experience in industries such as health and wellness, architecture, energy efficiency, and non-profits. He specializes in marketing communications, project management, and neurofeedback and has experience in the US and Mexico. He owns multiple businesses, including Puerto Vallarta Neurofeedback and Red Thread Creative Group, which offer neurofeedback sessions and marketing services. Additionally, he oversees construction management for residential property owners.
Robert Schamel, Esq. | Secretary
NeurOptimal® Certified Trainer
Robert Schamel is a legal and regulatory consultant with experience in the oil and gas industry. He specializes in regulatory compliance, permitting, and legal advisement, having previously served as Senior District Landman at Samson Resources and Sr. Regulatory Specialist at URS Corporation. His career spans various roles, including attorney and landman, where he negotiated contracts, managed permitting processes, and ensured compliance with regulatory requirements. Schamel holds a J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law, focusing on oil and gas law, and a B.A. in English from the University of Iowa. As a Certified Training for NeurOptimal Neurofeedback, Robert can concentrate on the well-being of individuals and families in a training setting.
Eric Graham | Director
First Responder
Eric Graham is a dedicated first responder with over 17 years of experience with the Parker Police Department and is currently an Agent with the Colorado Bureau of Investigation. His extensive background in law enforcement, coupled with his firsthand knowledge of the challenges faced by first responders, plays a critical role in shaping and enhancing the supportive services offered by First Responder Neurofeedback (FRN). Eric's expertise ensures that FRN's programs are relevant and effective in addressing the unique needs of the first responder community.
Ryan Ninness | Director
Technology
Ryan Ninness is an experienced software development executive with over 20 years of experience in software development management and 18 years of experience managing IT teams. He has a strong background in IoT, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure), cybersecurity, and DevOps. Ryan has worked across various industries, including agriculture, medical billing, transportation, and non-profit sectors. He currently serves as Senior Vice President of Technology at Urban-Gro, overseeing software development, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity. His expertise also includes SOC compliance, machine learning, and developing custom technology solutions for high-value industries.
Deborah Zuniga, LMFT | Director & Licensed Mental Health Professional
NeurOptimal® Certified Trainer
Deborah Zuniga LMFT is the sole owner of Triple A Counseling. Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy since 2016. In addition to being a Certified Trainer for NeurOptimal Neurofeedback, Deborah’s main modality for counseling is EMDR trauma treatment along with attachment theory. Having worked in the addiction field for 19 years and the trauma field for the last six years, Deborah is a firm believer in the benefits of Brain Training especially for traumatized people. She is very excited to be on the Board of First Responders to help bring that relief to this population who has helped so many people at the cost of their own mental health due to the traumatic nature of their occupation.
Jennifer Tierney | Executive Director
NeurOptimal® Certified Trainer (Advanced)
Jennifer Tierney is a highly accomplished entrepreneur, business executive and mental health advocate. For 20+ years, she has held award-winning C-suite positions at various successful companies while founding her mental health businesses. Jennifer is the owner/founder of CŌR Neuro, Parker Neurofeedback and The Rock Neuro, which provide large-format neurofeedback treatment to individuals, companies, nonprofits, and sports organizations to improve cognitive performance. She also represents Zengar, the parent company of NeurOptimal, one of only 40 trainers selected worldwide. She is also a Certified Educator for Zengar, and regularly certifies NeurOptimal providers. As a Board Member and Executive Committee Treasurer for Denver-based Spark the Change, Jennifer advocates for the non-profit community while donating hundreds of sessions to local nonprofits through her businesses. Trained by the Human Potential Institute, Jennifer dedicates her time to educating the corporate world on the importance of mental health.
